My “why story” begins when I was in seventh grade. A volunteer – who happened to be the mother of another student in the class – came to our classroom to encourage the students to make the trip down to Washington D.C. to peacefully and prayerfully protest abortion at the “March for Life.” In her presentation she showed us pictures of a tiny baby in the womb. I’ll never forget the butterflies in my stomach when I realized that that was a little life growing inside of a mother’s womb. It was as if I fell in love with every baby that would ever be. My love grew into a passion to defend life, especially those little lives that could not defend themselves. Many “March for Life”s later, here I am, the President of the Board of Directors of this beautiful ministry that carries out this mission every.single.day. I could not be more honored.
