Dorothy and I wanted a family. We are practicing Catholics. We had to wait 19 months until Dorothy became pregnant the first time after our wedding. After our first daughter was born, Dorothy didn’t get pregnant again for 3 or 4 years with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th children. It took almost 16 years to build our family. Christopher was over 14 years younger than Rebecca when he was born. We have been a pro-life family forever and attended the March For Life many times. Our five children were blessed by God with 13 grandchildren for us. We were proud when our 4th child Jennifer started the “Queens Race For Love and Life” over 10 years ago. That 5k race and 1 mile walk will be held again this year on July 11 at the North Park Boathouse.
